The April Port Townsend Community Dance will take place on Saturday, April 18th at the Quimper Grange. The Grange is located in Port Townsend’s Dundee Hill neighborhood at 1219 Corona Street. Doors open at 7:15 with dancing from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
The caller for March is Suzanne Girardot.
Port Townsend’s Boiler Room Stringband will be serving up dance tunes f0r the evening.
The Port Townsend Community Dance is inspired by traditional kitchen and barn dances and features a mixture of traditional sets, always danced to live music along with a dance caller. All experience levels are welcome; all dances are taught! Come alone, with a friend, with a partner, with the family – or with the whole village! Admission for the April dance is free! Donations to our program are always appreciated. Please bring your own personal water bottle and consider arriving on foot or by bicycle if possible!
