The Port Townsend Community Dance is inspired by traditional kitchen and barn dances and features a mixture of traditional sets, always danced to live music along with a dance caller. All experience levels are welcome; all dances are taught! Come alone, with a friend, with a partner, with the family – or with the whole village! Admission is $10 per person/$20 per family; however, no one will be turned away at the door. Please bring your own personal water bottle and consider arriving on foot or by bicycle if possible! Dancing starts promptly at 7:30!
It takes a lot of work to keep a monthly dance going. And, door admissions don’t begin to cover costs of callers, bands and hall rental fees. I have great crew that helps me plan and put on a dance each month. I am so thankful. I am also grateful for any donations that can support our monthly dance program.
